Internet Chapter

            Between the Covers

We are no longer in the days of Ernest Hemingway, when you could dash off your manuscript in longhand and send it in. Editors expect you to know the proper way to set up a manuscript, they expect you to research their needs, and they expect you to comply. A book that has the potential of spending weeks on the New York Times bestseller list could be passed over if there is an obvious lack of professionalism in the manuscript.

No matter what stage your work is in, the following can help you fine-tune your manuscript, polishing it until it looks its shining best.
