Cora, a widow enters her late husband's antique car in a car show, then buys a lottery ticket using its odometer numbers and wins. After winning a couple more shows and lotteries she plans to win a huge lottery jackpot. But the driver who hauls her car steals it, takes the jackpot, and disappears. A year later, he has a change of heart, but wrecks her car before he can return it and a key to the safe deposit box holding the remainder of the money. Cora is determined to find the key and claim the money she feels rightfully belongs to her.
